Fring是一个功能强大的手机客户端软件,或者可以称之为移动VoIP软件。Fring提供基于Wi-Fi接入或3G或GPRS互联网数据方案的免费移动呼叫。Fring将Skype、MSN Messenger、Google Talk、ICQ, SIP, Twitter, AIM & Yahoo! 及常规的电话联系人通讯。Fring还支持 SkypeOut，并在非 SIP 手机上支持数百基于SIP的服务，和联系人通过PC、移动电话及固定电话打便宜的本地电话及国际长途电话。也就是说有了Fring，就相当于你在手机上有了一个信息交流中心。
